The Thunderbirds trailed 5-1 before a four-run fifth knotted the score. Joe Zimmerman's two-run single in the fifth inning gave Connetquot a 9-6 lead and Joe Savino struck out the final batter of the game with runners on first and third to preserve the win. Nick Ungar went 1-for-2 with a double and three runs scored. Jared Yalon went 1-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Yalon's twin brother, Derek, went 1-for-3 with a sac-fly, double, and an RBI for Connetquot (7-6). "For a 600th win, trailing 5-1 and then coming back was a big thing for us," Ambrosini said.
