East Islip 9, Half Hollow Hills West 7: Chris Palmer's RBI triple in the top of the eighth gave East Islip (7-10) a 7-6 lead in its Suffolk V win. Weston Osburn followed Palmer's triple with a RBI single and Kyle Fleitman added an RBI double to score Obsburn and extend the lead to 9-6. Kieran Dowd doubled to score Rob Iadanza and Evan Kramer to tie the game at 6 and cap a four-run top of the seventh. Tenth grader David Perugini pitched five innings of relief, allowed three runs, and earned his first varsity win.
