West Islip 3, North Babylon 2: Joe Palmieri went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and threw out the potential tying run at home plate from left field for the second out of the seventh inning for West Islip (11-3) in Suffolk IV. Palmieri's two-out single in the fourth gave the Lions a 3-0 lead. Tom Gatto struck out three in a complete-game effort.
