Ward Melville 7, Longwood 1: Max Nielsen struck out 10 and allowed one hit and three walks in six innings to lead Ward Melville (7-2) in Suffolk I. Nielsen also went 3-for-4 with a single, double and triple. Eighth-grader Brian Silverio added a sacrifice fly to record his first varsity RBI and junior Max Casciano had his first varsity hit for the Patriots.
