Oceanside 6, Freeport 1: Matt Carey threw a no-hitter, striking out nine and walking three in seven innings to lead Oceanside (4-0-1) in Nassau AA-I. "He threw a lot of first-pitch strikes and he was able to use all of his pitches on any count," coach Mike Postilio said. "He was pretty dominant all day." A run scored on a ground-ball out in the seventh inning. Chris Siklas went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a run scored, Tyler Judd went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Leo Alvarez went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
