Glenn 5, Miller Place 0: Senior Joe Muchnicki threw a no-hitter in his first varsity start, striking out 11 with no walks to lead Glenn in its Suffolk V opener. Muchnicki missed all of last season with an injury, coach Matt Rocchio said. "He was locating his spots and getting ahead of hitters. After a year of injury, it was great to see all his hard work in the offseason paying off," Rocchio added. Miller Place's only baserunners reached on errors. Ramsel Rodriguez hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning to give Glenn a 4-0 lead.
