Deer Park 3, Centereach 2: Evan Mallon was hit by a pitch on a 2-0 count with two outs and the loaded bases to give Deer Park a win in its League IV opener. Centereach scored two runs in the top of the seventh to tie the score. Jordan Rios hit a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth that plated Oliver Tavares and Thomas Nacchia to give the Falcons a 2-0 lead. Connor Hewlette tossed a five-hit complete game and allowed five hits with four strikeouts.
