East Meadow 3, Calhoun 2: Frank Ippolito drove in two runs on a bases-loaded two-out single in the bottom of the fifth to lead No. 3 East Meadow (19-4) over No. 2 Calhoun to advance in the best-of-three Nassau AA semifinals. Joe Minucci struck out five and allowed six hits and one earned run in a complete game. Matt Mascia threw out a runner at home to end the game. East Meadow plays No. 4 Massapequa Saturday at Farmingdale State.
