Oceanside vs Massapequa

Massapequa 5, Oceanside 4: Kyle McLernon smacked a two-out single to score Matt Donofrio with a walk-off run for Massapequa, which swept Oceanside and advanced to the Nassau AA championship series. McLernon was 2-for-4, Donofrio added a double and scored two runs, and Luke O'Mahoney was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI for No. 4 Massapequa (18-4). Top-seeded Oceanside got four hits in a row with one out and scored twice in the top of the seventh to tie the score at 4-all. Junior reliever Dan Gdanski entered the game and walked the first batter he faced to load the bases. He then struck out Kyle Martin and induced a fly out to center to end the game for the Chiefs.
