Farmingdale 3, Oceanside 2: A two-out, two-run, walk-off single by Nick Bifolco helped No. 9 Farmingdale (13-9) stay alive in Nassau AA against top-seeded Oceanside in game two of a best-of-three series. Farmingdale's Angus McCloskey pitched a one-hitter over six innings with five strikeouts and seven walks. Both runs were unearned. Keegan McDonald pitched a scoreless seventh for the win. Oceanside's Mike Pagonia scattered three hits over 4 2/3 innings with three strikeouts and allowed one earned run. "This just show how resilient our ballclub is," Farmingdale coach Frank Tassielli said. "There was never a doubt that we weren't going to fight until the last possible out. It showed and we came out on top." The two teams meet Thursday at Oceanside for the deciding game of the series.
