Carey 8, Island Trees 7: Anthony Catapano led off the bottom of the seventh with a walk-off home run for No. 1 Carey in the second round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Catapano went 3-for-4 with two solo shots and Carey also got home runs from Tyler DeMeo and TJ Toscano. Island Trees homered three times. "The wind was blowing like crazy today," Carey coach Mike Farina said. "Anything that got in the air had a chance." Carey (18-3) will play the winner of No. 9 Island Trees and No. 8 Lynbrook/No.16 Hewlett on Thursday.
