Farmingdale 7, Herricks 3: Max Cohen struck out nine and allowed four hits and one earned run in six innings to lead No. 9 Farmingdale (12-8) over No. 8 Herricks in the first round of the Nassau AA playoffs. Ken DeGruchy went 2-for-3, including an RBI double in the first and a two-RBI home run in the third. The Dalers plays Monday on the road in the second round.
