Long Island Lutheran 4, Staten Island Academy 3: Junior outfielder Nigel Margetson had a two-run double in the first inning and added a solo home run in the fourth to give LuHi a 3-1 lead in a PSAA playoff semifinal game. Sophomore righthander Chase Alexander pitched 2 2/3 innings of hitless relief for the win. The Crusaders (7-6) will meet the winner of St. Ann's and Berkeley-Carroll in the championship game Monday at MCU Park in Brooklyn at 4 p.m. LuHi, which was 2-15 a year ago, qualified for the playoffs under first-year coach Mike Tinney.
