Calhoun 5, Mepham 2: Jake Garguilo pitched a complete game three hitter with five strikeouts and hit a two-run home run in the top of the seventh to give Calhoun (12-2) a 5-2 lead in its Nassau AA-III win. Garguilo went 2-for-4, Matt Pelcher went 2-for-3 with two runs and Dylan Hughes went 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI. Calhoun clinched the Nassau AA-III conference championship with the win, according to Art Canestro.
