Bay Shore 1, Whitman 0: Brian Weissert threw a no-hitter, struck out 12, and walked one in Suffolk II. It was the first no-hitter of his career, coach Mike Herbst said. "He was throwing hard and was able to throw both his curveball and changeup for strikes in any count," Herbst said. Weissert faced the minimum amount of batters, due to a double play and a caught stealing. He also scored the lone run, coming home on Charlie Dunn's RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning. Bay Shore is 13-1.
