Wheatley 12, Malverne 0: John Ryan and Steve McCleary pitched a combined no-hitter to lead Wheatley (10-3) in Nassau BC. Ryan pitched two innings with five strikeouts and McCleary pitched five innings with one walk and nine strikeouts. Ryan left the game after the second with shoulder tightness, according to coach Paul Paino. Anthony Cutinella went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBIs and Eric Beierlein went 4-for-5 with two runs.
