Ward Melville 1, Longwood 0: After reaching on an error with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, Chris Cepeda stole second and third and eventually scored on an infield single by Greg Coman to give Ward Melville (5-3) a one-run win in League I. Anthony Kay pitched a complete game two-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts and two walks. Longwood's Aaron Floyd broke up a no-hit bid for Kay with a single to left with one out in the top of the sixth inning. Andrew Gazzola allowed an unearned run and three hits, while striking out eight, walking one and hitting three batters.
