Wantagh vs North Shore

North Shore 3, Wantagh 2: Nick Lucchese drew a one-out walk, stole second, and scored on an infield error in the bottom of the seventh inning to give No. 3 North Shore (19-3) a walkoff win over No. 14 Wantagh in the Class A fourth round. Billy Bianco scored on Thomas Aufiero's sacrifice fly to cut Wantagh's lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth. Bianco then scored again in the bottom of the fifth on Jack Aughavin's RBI single to even the score at 2. Aughavin tossed a complete game, struck out six, scattered six hits, and walked two. North Shore advances to play in the semifinals on Monday.
