Mepham 4, Oceanside 3: Ryan Connolly scored the walk-off run in the bottom of 11th after John Breden was hit by pitch with the bases loaded for No. 4 Mepham over No. 5 Oceanside in Game One of the Class AA quarterfinal. With two outs in the seventh, Seamus Kirby had a two-RBI single to tie the game at three. Tommy White pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings in relief and Chenzo Worgul tossed 3 2/3 innings of shutout relief after. Oceanside took Game Two 10-3 later in the afternoon. Mepham (12-5-1) hosts Oceanside for Game Three Thursday at 4:30.
