East Islip 1, Bay Shore 0: Joe Parillo led off the fifth with a single, moved to second on a wild pitch and scored when Jake Piacenti's sacrifice bunt attempt was thrown away to lead No. 6 East Islip (16-5) over No. 17 Bay Shore in a Suffolk AA first round baseball playoff game. Parillo also threw out runners at the plate from right field in the third and sixth inning. Mike Demarest threw a three-hitter with eight strikeouts for the win. East Islip will play the winner of Commack/West Babylon today at 4pm.
