Carey 8, Bellmore JFK 6: Ed Cosgrove hit a two-run single in the sixth inning to break a tie at 6 and lead Carey (11-6) in Conference A-I. Carey's Rob Kelly hit a grand slam for the second consecutive game, and junior C.J. Buchanan got his first varsity win, striking out three and allowing one hit in 2.1 innings of relief.
