West Islip 12, Newfield 9: Ray Weber hit a three-run double in the top of the seventh to break a 9-9 tie in the League IV win. Newfield scored six run in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the score at 9. Weber went 3-for-5 with a double, triple, home run, and seven RBI for West Islip (10-7). He also pitched a scoreless seventh inning to earn his second save of the week. Evan Weinstein earned the win, retiring two of the three batters he faced in the sixth inning.
