Mattituck 2, Center Moriches 1: Ian Nish's two-out RBI single scored Joe Tardif in Mattituck's (15-0) walk-off win in the bottom of the ninth in League VIII. Tardif led off the ninth with a walk, stole second, and scored the winning run two batters later. Dan Franchi's RBI double, scoring Tony Parlotto, tied the score at one in the sixth for Center Moriches (7-8). Marcos Perivolaris pitched seven innings, allowing an earned run on one hit, striking out five and walking one. Chris Dwyer pitched two scoreless innings in relief for the win.
