HIGHLIGHTS
West Islip 4, Centereach 3: Jake Guercio scored on a groundball to third with no outs in the bottom of the seventh, and West Islip (7-7) walked off in League IV. Nick Valenti and Jimmy Mattera hit back-to-back RBI singles to tie the game at 3 in the bottom of the sixth. Starter Ray Weber went six innings with seven strikeouts, five hits and two earned runs. Tom Montiglio earned his first varsity win by pitching a perfect seventh inning.
