Garden City 8, Carey 7: Ryan Smith's RBI single plated Rich Mattone with the winning run during Garden City's (6-4) walk-off win in Conference A-I. The Trojans trailed 5-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth, before Smith tied the score at six with a solo homer in the fifth. Kyle Ascher's RBI single, scoring pinch runner Matt Quinn, tied the score at seven for the Trojans. Smith went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk. Smith also pitched the seventh in relief and got the win.
