Christian Nissen hit a two-run double in the second to tie the score at 2. Nissen went 2-for-3 with three RBIs, including a sac fly in the fourth to increase the lead to 4-2. Travis Bruinsma struck out 11 in a complete game, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk.
