Joe Correo struck out 14 in his first career no-hitter to lead Bellmore JFK (7-3) in A-I. The senior walked the second batter of the game, then retired the next 19 in succession. "He had fantastic location on his fastball and worked off that with his slider and spotted the curveball," coach Eric Passman said of his righthander, who threw 88 pitches. "He missed all of last season with a back injury, so this was very special for him." Greg Goller went 4-for-5 with two RBIs and Joe Hulkhower went 3-for-4 and four runs.
