Valley Stream Central 2, Calhoun 1: Mike Ciullo's inside-the-park home run helped Valley Stream Central (4-2) regain the lead at 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning during its Conference III/Conference IV crossover win. Ciullo led off the sixth and sent a 1-1 fastball into the right field corner for the roundtripper. Cain Ruiz's two-out RBI single, scoring Will DeLuca, gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead in the third. Jake Gargiulo's RBI single to right field plated Connor Hannon to tie the score at one in the top of the sixth. DeLuca pitched five innings, allowing an earned run on four hits, striking out six and walking two for the victory. Dylan Hughes pitched six innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits, striking out nine and walked one for the Colts.
