Smithtown East vs Bay Shore

Smithtown East 2, Bay Shore 1: James Myers' RBI single, scoring Shawn Kelly, gave Smithtown East (6-1) a 2-1 lead in the top of the 11th inning during its League III win. Pat Lagravinese recorded the final three outs in order for the save. Chris LaRose's sacrifice fly, scoring Brian Weissert, gave Bay Shore (3-4) a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the second. Myers scored the tying run from third base on a balk call with two outs in the top of the seventh. Matt Lawlor pitched 10 1/3 innings, allowing two earned runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking one for the Marauders. Dominick Savino pitched nine innings, allowing an earned run on five hits, striking out 11 and walking one for the Bulls. Greg Maitles retired the side in the 10th for the victory.
