Valley Stream Central 9, Mepham 8: Will DeLuca singled home Justin Crisostomo for the winning run in the bottom of the seventh for Valley Stream Central (3-1) in Conference AA-III. After Mepham scored four runs in the top of the seven to make it 8-4, Valley Stream Central struck back for five in the bottom of the inning, including a two-run homer by Elijah Tavarez and RBI singles by Mike Ciullo and DeLuca.
