Hauppauge 6, Huntington 0: Nick Fanti tossed his second consecutive no-hitter for Hauppauge (4-0) in its League V win at Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip. After a leadoff walk to start the fifth, Fanti picked off his only baserunner at first base, facing the minimum 21 batters. "He's constantly ahead in the count and that's because he has a great feel for all of his pitches," Eagles coach Josh Gutes said of Fanti, who struck out 11 of 16 swinging, and was on the same page throughout with catcher PJ Contreras. "He worked mostly off his fastball today, but his breaking ball was just as good." Nick Scozzari and Bryan Seltenreich combined to go 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored. Fanti (3-0) has allowed only two singles in his 19 innings of work, striking out 38. He makes his next start at home against Bellport at 4:30 p.m. April 20.
