Mattituck 6, Southampton 2: James Nish hit a two-run homer to give Mattituck (4-0) a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning in League VIII. Nish' twin brother, Ian, had doubled preceding James' home run. Joe Tardif gave up two hits and two runs and struck out 11 in six innings to earn the win. He also went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
