Hauppauge 7, Glenn 0: Nick Fanti tossed a no-hitter, striking out 11 and walking one for Hauppauge (4-0) in its non-league win. Fanti walked the leadoff hitter in the second inning and retired the final 18 batters in order. "He just pounded the strike zone with mostly fastballs on both sides of the plate," Hauppauge coach Josh Gutes said of the lefthander Fanti, who improved to 2-0. "It felt like he was 0-1, 0-2 on every hitter." Fanti also went 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs scored. PJ Contreras went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored.
