Shoreham-Wading River 4, Westhampton 3: John Montesano hit the game-winning single to drive in Jack Massa and lead No. 1 Shoreham-Wading River (17-3) over No. 5 Westhampton in the second round of the Suffolk Class A playoffs. Matt Fox hit a two-out full count single up the middle to drive in Chris Moran and Kyle Pendergrast to tie the game at three for the Wildcats in the seventh. Shoreham-Wading River will play No. 2 Bayport-Blue Point in the winners bracket final at home on Wednesday at 4PM.
