Commack 4, Connetquot 0: Jesse Kilmetis tossed a two-hitter with three strikeouts and no walks to lead Commack (13-9) in the Class AA elimination game. No. 9 Commack will host No. 13 East Islip, Monday in a consolation bracket elimination. Jon Iadevaia opened the scoring on a two-out RBI single in the second inning. Jeff Sarra broke up Kilmetis' no-hit bid with a two-out linedrive single in the fifth. "I thought I had great command today," Kilmetis said. "I was getting ahead of hitters all game and our defense played well. When you have a shortstop like Jesse Berardi, you just have the confidence to let them put it in play." Berardi, who had five assists, ended the game in spectacular fashion, with a diving play for the final out. Commack added three runs in the sixth, keyed by Iadevaia's RBI single, Berardi's RBI double and Matt Glubiak's RBI triple. No. 10 Connetquot finished 14-9.
