MacArthur 4, East Meadow 2: Second-seeded MacArthur evened up their best-of-three Class AA quarterfinal series with (8) East Meadow. Rob Andreoli's RBI single in the top of the seventh scored Tom Melendez and gave MacArthur a 3-2 lead. Andreoli went 2-for-4 with two runs. Vin Martino's double in the top of the sixth tied the game at two. Nick Mannarino pitched a complete game, allowed one earned run on five hits, struck out five, and walked two. MacArthur is 16-5. Game three is 4:45pm Friday at MacArthur.
