Connetquot 4, Longwood 1: Travis Bruinsma struck out five in a complete game while allowing five hits and no walks to lead No. 10 over No. 7 Longwood in a Class AA first round playoff game. Bruinsma did not allow a hit until the fifth inning. Brandon Morse (1-for-2, three RBIs) belted a two-run double with two outs in the fifth inning to put Connetquot ahead 4-0. Connetquot (14-7) will play either No. 2 Hills West or No. 15 North Babylon 4 p.m. Wednesday.
