Justin Ganca went 1-for-3 with a homer and three RBIs to lead No. 4 Bellmore JFK (14-7) over No. 5 Plainedge in the third round of the Nassau Class A playoffs. Ganca's three-run homer in the fourth inning gave the Cougars a 3-1 lead. John Austin Emory was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Wyatt Carney pitched five scoreless innings to earn the win.
