Wheatley 13, East Rockaway 2: Matt Hogg pitched a complete game, allowed one earned run on six hits, struck out eight, and walked none in top-seeded Wheatley's game two victory over (4) East Rockaway in the Class B semifinals, evening up the series at one game apiece. Billy McLean went 2-for-2 with five RBI. McLean's grand slam in the second inning gave the Wildcats a 5-0 lead. Tommy Gillette went 4-for-5 with a double, triple, and three RBI. Game three is 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Wheatley.
