North Shore 8, Lynbrook 3: Nick Daley pitched a complete game, allowed three runs on seven hits, struck out three, and walked two in (2) North Shore's League A first round victory over (10) Lynbrook. Thomas Aufiero's solo home run in the bottom of the third gave North Shore a 3-2 lead. Ryan Perro's two RBI double in the fifth capped off a four-run inning that gave the Vikings a 7-2 lead. North Shore (16-4) will face the winner of Tuesday's elimination game between Hewlett and Lynbrook 4:30 pm Thursday at North Shore.
