East Meadow 9, Long Beach 0: Brian Kavanagh pitched a complete shutout and struck out four to lead No. 8 East Meadow (13-7) over No. 9 Long Beach in the first round of the League AA playoffs. Matt Laudonio went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. East Meadow will play No. 2 MacArthur at MacArthur High School in the quarterfinals on Tuesday at 4:30PM.
