Friends Academy vs Carle Place

Friends Academy 10, Carle Place 7: Max Botwinick singled in Greg Petrossian (4-for-4) to give Friends Academy an 8-7 lead in the top of the eighth inning in BC. Petrossian was 4-for-4 with two RBIs for the Quakers (5-10). Carle Place had tied it at 7 in the sixth inning. Grant Elgarten struck out five in 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win. Catcher Ben Freund threw out a runner attempting to advance to second on a passed ball to end the game.
