Shoreham-Wading River 4, Miller Place 0: Brian Morrell threw his second consecutive no-hitter, striking out eight and walking five to lead Shoreham-Wading River (6-0) in League VII. "He went mostly with his fastball and curve and just a hand full of changeups," head coach Sal Mignano said. "This is my 38th year at Shoreham and I've never had a kid, let a lone a freshman, pitch two consecutive no-hitters. We expected him to be in our rotation because he's an exceptional athlete but nobody could have expected this." Morell, also the starting short stop, is expected to go for his third no-hitter on Thursday against Westhampton.
