Cold Spring Harbor vs Oyster Bay

Oyster Bay 8, Cold Spring Harbor 7: Thomas Vidro walked with the bases loaded at the bottom of the 13th inning to score Chase Lordi and lead No. 1 Oyster Bay over No. 3 Cold Spring Harbor in the Nassau Class B championship on Saturday at Hofstra. Trailing by one in the bottom of the seventh with two outs, Jack Gerbosi singled and drove in Anthony Scheidet to tie the game and force extra innings. Lordi pitched the last six innings in relief, giving up no runs. Lordi, Vidro, Gerbosi, Chris Hall, Nick Von Bargen, Alex Karpavicius and Dean Cekovic all had multi-hit games. Oyster Bay (19-5) will next face Center Moriches in the Long Island championship at 11 a.m. June 6 at Middle Country Athletic Complex. Cold Spring Harbor finished 14-11.
