HIGHLIGHTS
Connor Ackerman struck out five and allowed one earned run and six hits in 6 1/3 innings to lead No. 5 St. Dominic over No. 2 Kellenberg in Game 3 of the NSCHSAA baseball championship series Tuesday at Hofstra. The Bayhawks claimed their first league title since 2009. Tyler Camastro went 2-for-4 and recorded the final two outs for the save. Ray Kim, Dylan Weinstein and Dominc Muccia each had a hit and an RBI. St. Dominic (21-14) will in the CHSAA state semifinal at St. John's University on June 12. Kellenberg finished 17-11.
