HIGHLIGHTS
Sayville 4, Bayport-Blue Point 3: Joe Strining went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple, double and scored the go-ahead run on Aidan Devane's single in the bottom of the sixth for No. 2 Sayville over No. 3 Bayport-Blue Point in the second round of the Suffolk Class A double elimination playoffs. Devane struck out two in two scoreless innings of relief to earn the win. Nate Lewis struck out seven and allowed three runs and five hits in five innings. Brody Tellier had a two-run single. Sayville (17-4) will face the winner of No. 1 Kings Park/No. 4 Shoreham-Wading River in the winner's bracket final Saturday at noon. Ryan Kloss and Kieran Diemer each hit a homer for Bayport-Blue Point (12-7), which will play an elimination game on Saturday.
