Bayport-Blue Point 5, Mount Sinai 2: Collin Reyer drove in Zane Chirco and Aiden Richman on a go-ahead single in the bottom of the fifth of No. 3 Bayport-Blue Point's win over No. 6 Mount Sinai in the first round of the Suffolk Class A double elimination playoffs. Chirco hit a pinch-hit two-run single to plate Aiden Gibbs and Roy Ricci to tie the score at 2 earlier in the inning. Vin Scimone struck out two in three innings of relief to earn the win. Bayport-Blue Point (13-6) will visit No. 2 Sayville in the second round at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Sinai (13-8) will visit No. 5 Miller Place in an elimination game at noon on Saturday.
