Mepham 11, Division 4: Teagan Cardona went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBIs to lead No. 9 Mepham past No. 5 Division in the first round of the Nassau Class AA playoffs. Jake Maxwell allowed three earned runs across a complete game to earn the win. Jimmy Lewis hit a two-run single in the second inning, and Grady Delucia had an RBI. Lucas Eagleston and Chase Triano both had multiple hits. Carlie Milohnic and Jaiden Zoller both drew two walks. Mepham (15-6) will travel to No. 4 South Side Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Division (15-6) will travel to No. 4 South Side Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
