The Stony Brook School 15, Poly Prep 0: Aiden Ruiz went 2-for-2 with a double, two walks, a stolen base and three runs scored to lead The Stony Brook School (15-1) in non-league. Coady Bailey pitched a complete-game, four-inning, one-hit shutout with only one walk and four strikeouts while also picking off a baserunner. Juju Martinez went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and two runs scored. Mateo Lopez went 1-for-3 with a three-run double, a walk and two runs scored. Sam Dicker went 2-for-3 with with the walk-off RBI double to invoke the mercy rule in the bottom of the fourth inning, finishing with two RBIs, a hit-by-pitch and a run scored. Quincy Gibbs went 2-for-2 with two RBIs, a walk and a run. Angelo Ciminiello went 0-for-1, but he reached base three times with two walks and a hit-by-pitch, allowing him to score two runs. Josh Diaz drove in a run during an 11-run bottom of the first inning. Andrew Edwards walked and scored in the first. Xavier Santos-Olson was hit by a pitch and drew a walk, scoring one run. After his walk in the fourth, his brother, Ben Santos-Olson pinch ran for him and scored the walk-off run.
