Uniondale 4, Herricks 3: Josh Ockimey scored the winning run from third base on James Peralta's sacrifice fly to lead Uniondale (8-2) in non-league. Ockimey pitched 8 1/3 innings with 10 strikeouts. Freshman Justin Cunningham made three slick putouts at third base in his first varsity start. Ockimey's RBI double scored Freddy Ventura and tied it at three in the seventh.
